There are still a few copies left of the 2nd edition of
THE WHIGHAM FAMILY CHRONICLES.
The book is 1058 pages long and covers the Whigham family from
Scotland in the 15th century through 2003 and the Whighams who have
crossed the United States. It covers as many branches of our family as
could be identified, even as late as the announcement of a new Whigham
descendant in March 2003. The book will be hardbound in red linen with
gold leaf title, crest, etc. It will be hand sewn to prevent its
coming apart. The paper will be 50# acid free.
I have tried to be faithful to the information furnished me, made the
corrections identified in the first book, and included information on
the Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio & Pennsylvania lines, as well as
information from Scotland and Ireland on the earlier ancestors of our
Whigham family. And, I haven't forgotten all those adventurous souls
who left their original states in the US and crossed the country to
almost every state.
The price for the book is $49.95 plus $5 postage.
Checks for the book should be made payable to:
Whigham Family Association
Mail your
checks to:
Joyce W. Dorrycott

All those who order a book will get an ancestor tree as well to help
each of you to know your direct line. The book will contain no
pictures as it was much too big already!! However, I will be putting
together a Whigham Photo Album for those of you who are interested. I
will have a sample of the photo album at the reunion and will keep all
of you informed about the details of the photo album.
If you have pictures you want included, you may mail them to me for me
to scan and return, email them to me or bring them to the reunion. I
will have my scanner, computer and printer with me there.
To keep you better informed, the website will be updated regularly.
The newsletters are now being posted on the website as well as all
information about the reunion, books, etc. So, check it out at
www.whighamfamilyassn.com
So, let me hear from you, and get those orders for the books in so
that everyone who wants one will get one.
